The most common mistake with prestige recovery is using a standard tow truck with a hook. Modern prestige vehicles have complex front and rear bumper assemblies, air suspension systems, and all-wheel-drive systems that can be severely damaged by traditional towing. An improper tow of an AWD Range Rover can destroy the transfer case — a repair that costs thousands of pounds.
