SRL Recovery offers roadside assistance across Glasgow alongside our recovery service. If it can be fixed at the side of the road, we'll try. If it can't, we'll recover.
What roadside assistance covers with us
We can help with on-the-spot issues like running out of fuel (we can get fuel to you), spare wheel changes if you've blown a tyre and have a spare, simple electrical checks, and assessing whether a vehicle is safe to drive on.
What we don't do is full mechanical work at the roadside — we're a recovery service, not a mobile garage. For serious mechanical issues (engine failure, transmission problems, major electrical faults) we'll get the vehicle to a garage that can diagnose properly.
Roadside vs recovery — which do you need?
When you call, tell us what's happened. We'll give you our honest opinion: if it sounds like a simple issue that could be sorted at the roadside, we'll come out for a roadside call. If it sounds like full recovery is needed, we'll send the right truck first time and save you a wait.

Can you fix my car at the roadside?
For some simple issues, yes — spare wheel changes, getting fuel to you if you've run dry, basic checks. For mechanical problems we'll get you to a garage that can diagnose properly.
What if my issue turns out to need full recovery?
No problem — we can recover from the same call-out. We charge for the service required, so you won't pay roadside-call-out and recovery-call-out separately.
Can you bring me fuel?
Yes — if you've run out of fuel and can't easily get to a petrol station, we can bring fuel to you. Just tell us on the call what fuel your car takes.
